When it comes to bridal showers and weddings there is no shortage of inspiration these days~
What is really wonderful is if you are a tea lover there is a growing number of lovely bridal shower gifts, ideas for teas and ways you can incorporate the idea into your themed wedding! I love the idea of parasols and am sure you'll be seeing more details on that later from me. I was swooning over the tea length dress having a bit of romance yet modern styling to it~ Do you thing I could convince my oldest daughter to try one on? I can envision having a bridal tea all set up with cupcakes in the tea cups like this with lovely roses in the centerpiece in another tea cup. Oh, and platefuls of tea decorated cookies to have with tea too. In the evening I could see a little family gathering with a simple table setting with flowers in tea containers. Can you hear us toasting and laughing and asking how they first met? When it comes to shower gifts you can find things in just about any theme. But my two favorites this week had to be the heart infuser and personalized tins with tea sachets in them. *just click on the picture links to see where to purchase. I think I will be having a cup of tea now to relax and reflect on what I have found~ How many weddings are you going to or are in this summer? Do you know anyone who has had a bridal tea or tea themed wedding? I would love to know~

  5. Everything is so beautiful and inviting. I had a tea themed baby shower years ago and everything came out wonderful. I used mis matched tea cups which added a bit of whimsy.

  12. A bridal tea is a good idea, especially in the summer when it is possible to have an outdoor tea in the garden. I very much like the parasol!

  14. Hello- Yes I think you can convince your oldest daughter to try a tea length dress on. Mum threw me a tea bridal shower (even though I’m most happy when I have mud under my nails and dirt on my face) and everyone loved it. There is something about tea time that brings out the feminine side of even the most tom boyish woman. Take care.
