Handy Mom's Sewing Tutorials

Hello dear readers I have some news to share with you I just found out my daughter Krissy is pregnant with her second child. This will be a special Mother's Day as we anticipate the arrival of a new bundle of joy!
Luckily I have time to sew a few things for her, shh don't let her know! I think these sewing tutorials will make handy gifts for any mom! Pretty and useful! Who doesn't love a good sewing tutorial?

I have done a little sewing lately and been enjoying the break from painting. When I came across these images looking for inspiration boards for my other blog I had to share. Wouldn't you just love a little spot of your own and to make an inspiration board? I sure would.

Sewing Inspiration

I have to admit I have just been yearning to start to sew again. When I see images like these I am over the top with joy! Who wouldn't love a little crafty spot all organized in turquoise and a vintage turquoise sewing machine. The pin cushion and sachets are such cute simple projects~
I hope this has you wanting to create a little sewing space for yourself and are inspired to get creative! I just ordered some sewing project books and can't wait until they get here! When they do I will do a short review and let you know what projects I am going to do. In the mean time I came across this tutorial for a simple reversible bag!
