Tea Cup Tuesday

This is a Wedgewood Deco Bloom Tea Cup and Saucer from the Harlequin collection. With all the blooms outside I thought it fitting to share this tea cup. This pattern was reintroduced by Wedgewood due to fashions current love affair with vintage. The tea cup pattern was modelled on an original design discovered in the Wedgewood and Coalport Archives held by the Wedgewood Museum Trust. 2009 Fine bone china.

The pattern reminded me of this flower that I took a photograph of from a botanical garden. I don't know the name of it, but could envision someone sketching spring blossoms to design the pattern while sitting out in a garden while sipping tea on a lovely spring day~

Don't forget to visit all the other lovely ladies on Tea Cup Tuesday the link is on the sidebar. Until next time don't forget to enjoy a cup of tea outside when the weather permits and see spring in all its glory~
